1 січня наступного року китайський юань стане офіційною валютою в Зімбабве після переговорів між двома урядами під час державного візиту президента Китаю.
Це зробить китайську валюту рівною в Зімбабве з доларом США, південноафриканським рандом і ботсванською пулою, при цьому євро не відіграє жодної ролі в цьому рівнянні, можливо, різке нагадування про негативне ставлення Європейського Союзу до Зімбабве.
